This four-session workshop is designed to help improviserswork on performance-oriented scene work. The smaller class size gives students more of an opportunity to work in class and gives coaches a chance to provide more detailed evaluation and feedback. Since there is a focus on your individual work, the Studio Class also offers a great tune-up class for students who are at the Studio level and have taken a break from studying.
The Studio class can be taken multiple times. Students who take the Studio scene work class can also take the Specialty Studio classes with focus on character, status, playwrights, genre, stage skills, acting, etc. These specialty classes will help the student move from the Studio level to the Graduate performance level. Students can graduate from the Studio classes when the coach and dean have determined they are ready to move on.
